Greta Hayes has made her debut for the Hockeyroos. This is the culmination of a heck of a lot of hard work from Greta. Congratulations!

Greta debuted for SUHC in 2011 as an U/15s NSW player in 3rd grade and went on to win the MVP award that season. She rapidly moved through the grades to become a force in ML1 hockey in Sydney, playing 116 games (to date) for the Students with an impressive 65 goals scored. Described as a “dynamic midfielder”, she is also a Sydney University nursing student.

She was awarded a Sydney University Blue in 2015 and has been nominated multiple times for SUSF Sports Woman of the Year. After spending a season in the Belgium League, Greta returned to Australia in 2018 as part of our ML1 team. She was a part of the AHL winning Arrows team, scoring two goals in the final.
