How to Collect: Collection through team captains at Bruce Pryor Field.

Enter our social 7-aside comp now for Jan 2026. Fun, frivolity and friendly competition for everyone.

Monday nights from Jan 19th until Feb 16th. Games will be played between 7pm and 9:30pm.
The Team Manager will be responsible for providing their own umpires for allocated games. The team manager will be reimbursed $20 per game umpired by their team.
The cost will be $250 per team paid for by the Team Manager.
Each individual must be registered for 2026 with HNSW before their first game.
Registration will close on Wednesday 14th Jan.
There will be no games on 26th Jan.

Games are seven-a-side and we recommend a minimum team size of ten to ensure you have a team to play and subs. There must be at least three female players on the field at all times. The teams playing the first game each night are expected to set up the side boards. The teams playing the last game are expected to put the boards away. Let’s have fun!

We’ll review the year, elect the 2026 Executive Committee, and cover any general business. All members are warmly invited to attend and help shape the future of the club.

Presentation Night

Get ready for the annual Preso Night! Dress up and come celebrate with us at the TAG Family Foundation Grandstand from 6:30pm on Saturday 25th October.

Ticket Info:

$145 for food + alcohol. Any alcohol consumed requires this ticket.
$115 for food for U18s/non-drinking attendees

Ticket sales will close Friday 17th October.

Reminder that TAG Grandstand and SUHC strictly uphold RSA. This means you may be refused entry or asked to leave if you are intoxicated (no preloading). There is no sharing drinks with those without an alcohol ticket.

Refund of fees ?

Sydney University Hockey Club is pleased to offer the opportunity to apply for a refund of your fees.

Up to two players will be able to receive a refund of your SUHC playing fees, to help support you during your time in Sydney.

This has been made possible with the support of a generous donor. Note, this does not include the HNSW fee component.

The application process is as follows:

Closing date – 15 October 2025. (updated)

The criteria:
– You moved to Sydney to commence at any university or TAFE (either this year or previously)
– You are or were a full-time student in 2025
– You are largely supporting yourself
– You have a history of playing hockey (representative hockey is NOT essential) and you are playing with Sydney Uni in 2025.
– You have a history of contribution e.g. volunteering

Here is the process:

– Once submitted, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
– A short interview may be held with a member of the SUHC Executive Committee.

– The successful people will then be notified.

If you’re not successful in progressing at any stage, you will be notified by email.

SUHC hockey is BACK for 2025! 🙌 Pre-season/tryouts are kicking off this week – time to dust off the shinnies and hit the Bruce Pryor turf 💦 Plenty of good times, fun nights and premierships await! 🏆

Enter our social 7-aside comp now for Feb 2025. Instructions below for team managers and HNSW rego for each player.

1. Monday nights from February 3rd until March 10th (subject to number of teams that enter). Games will be played between 7pm and 9:30pm.
2. Where we are unable to find experienced umpires, teams will be allocated games to provide their own volunteers.
3. The cost will be $300 per team paid for by the Team Manager.
4. Each individual player must be registered for 2025 with HNSW before their first game.
5. Registration will close on Friday 24th January.

For each player to register with HNSW click here. This covers playing in 2025 to Dec 31 including the winter/spring season.
