Presentation Night 14 Oct

It’s that time of year again! Finals are in full swing and Preso Night is coming in hot!

We’re back at the TAG Grandstand on the 14th October. We are kicking the night off at 6:30pm.

Tickets are $140 including alcohol. There is a non-alcohol option for $110. Login at the top of the page before buying tickets. Remember we only take Visa and Mastercard credit cards. We do not take debit cards or AMEX.

Junior Development Clinics

We are excited to let you know of upcoming Development clinics for current junior players and Come Try Hockey sessions for new players aged 7-17.

We have weekly sessions on Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:15pm from 05 November 2020 for 6 weeks (last session is on 10 December 2020). All the sessions will be held at the Bruce Pryor field at Lidcombe.

The sessions are free. We have limited spots. Please register here ASAP, so we can have the right coaches and equipment at the sessions.

We are continuously looking to grow our club, so if you know any parents or kids who might be interested in trying hockey, please feel free to forward this information or put them in touch with me. Please do not hesitate to give me a call should you have any queries or would like to chat about the clinics. Note during COVID-safe procedure we will be entering the hockey field via Gate 2 on East St.

Spectator increase at finals

We are now allowed to have 400 spectators at Bruce Pryor field for the finals. This is in line with revised NSW Health guidelines. However it is still important to maintain the physical distancing at the field. Here is the revised COVID safe plan. This is great news just in time. Good luck with the finals.

The info from Ryde is similar:

All persons entering the venue must sign on by scanning the QR code or completing the attendance register
Spectators are permitted (500 max. capacity)
Spectators can use the verandah, the grass area and the clubhouse sidelines. BYO chair.
All spectators must keep 1.5m distance except for family/household groups.

For Olympic Park:

Spectators permitted, but please still keep spectators to a minimum, maintain social distancing and avoid social gathering.
No alcohol to be consumed within the venue. A security guard will be conducting random bag checks for alcohol at the entry point as it has been reported that there has been an increase of alcohol being brought on to the premises.

U18 Australian Champs

Well done to Rashil Jetley and Connor Tuddenham and the U18s NSW State Team who came away with the Bronze! The semi-final ended in an epic penalty shootout with 12 attempts required for WA to prevail 5-4, followed by a 2-1 bronze match victory over Victoria. Special mention to U18s NSW Blues boys Calam Baird, Seb Rollingsand captain Sam Bell who finished with a 3-2 win over NT to finish 7th.

Premier Women Play Stanford

Congratulations to our First Grade Women’s team for their 2-1 win over Stanford University with goals to NSW players Jaime Hemmingway and Kendelle Tait. An excellent contest with this prestigious Stanford team at Bruce Pryor Hockey Field. A great display of hockey and sportsmanship. A big thank you to Stanford for travelling all the way to Sydney!
